PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: October 1, 2023
At OC Salsa Rica LLC, we understand that you care how information about you is used and shared. We care too. As such, we work to safeguard your personal information and honor your requests for privacy. The following note outlines our privacy practices and commitments to our customers.
What Kind of Personal Information Does OC Salsa Rica Keep?
We collect the following types of personal information, meaning information that can be used to identify you or your household:
• Identifiers, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. We may collect this information when you reach out to us through our customer inquiry form, choose to share your contact information with a member of our Crew, or choose to sign up to receive our email newsletter.
• Internet and other electronic activity information, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, the browser or device used to access the website / e-Newsletter, the device operating system, information about our e-Newsletter or other websites you visited that directed you to our website, and the pages on our website that you view. We may collect this information when you browse our website or read our e-Newsletter.
Where Does OC Salsa Rica Get This Personal Information?
OC Salsa Rica collects the personal information described above directly from you. We also use select data collection technologies (like cookies) to collect the internet and other electronic activity information described above.
How Does OC Salsa Rica Use Your Personal Information?
We use personal information to better serve you and other customers by:
• Communicating about our products and stores they are located in.
• Notifying our customers of product information
• Responding to questions, requests, or concerns, and providing customer service
• Administering contests and sweepstakes
• Evaluating and improving our products and services
• Complying with our legal obligations
How Does OC Salsa Rica Disclose Personal Information?
In order to achieve the purposes listed above, we may disclose each category of your personal information listed above to the following recipients:
• To companies or individuals with whom we contract to receive services. These service providers help us maintain our databases, process your payments, gather analytics, and prepare and distribute our e-Newsletter. We require that our service providers do not use or disclose your personal information for any reason other than the services they are providing to us and do not use or store your personal information for other purposes.
• To third parties when we believe it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our legal rights, or to protect our customers.
Other than in the above situations, we may release your information ONLY if you request or authorize us to. We do not sell Personal Information to third parties, nor do we share information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only thing we sell is our salsas and products to our valued customers.
What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies?
When you interact on our website, we receive and store certain information in the form of Internet “cookies.” Cookies are stored on your hard drive in the form of a text file. They are not harmful but can help us understand how people use our website and provide targeted information about products and pricing. Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies,” meaning that they are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser. We also may use “persistent” cookies, which do not expire when you close your browser. Don’t worry, though—you can remove them by following the directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” menu. Most web browsers can be set to inform you when a cookie has been sent to you and provide you with the opportunity to refuse that cookie. Refusing a cookie will generally not interfere with your use of our website. However, refusal of a cookie may, in some cases, preclude you from using or negatively impact the display or function of our website or certain areas or features of our website. We do NOT use cookies or other technologies to track your surfing behavior before or after leaving the OC Salsa Rica website.
A couple additional things about our use of tracking technologies:
• Third Party Analytics. We use third parties, such as Google Analytics to evaluate usage of our website. We may also use other analytic means to evaluate and improve our website and your experience. These entities may use cookies and other tracking technologies to perform their services. You can learn more about how Google uses this information, here.
• How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals. Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) or similar feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have his or her online activity and behavior tracked. If a website that responds to a particular DNT signal receives the DNT signal, the browser can block that website from collecting certain information about the browser’s user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many digital service operators, including OC Salsa Rica, do not recognize or respond to DNT signals.
Social Sharing Features
The Site may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook "Like" button), which let you share actions you take on our Site with other media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing in connection with social sharing features, please visit the privacy policies of the entities that provide these features.
Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet and in applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by OC Salsa Rica and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and other websites and better understand your online activity.
We may also work with other websites or platforms (such as Facebook or Instagram) to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign, unless you notify us that you prefer not to have information about you used in this way. To opt out, please send a letter to OC Salsa Rica, OC Salsa Rica, LLC PO Box 17762 Anaheim, CA 92817

We will ask for your name, e-mail address, and/or phone number to match against any information in our systems. You can also submit requests through an agent that you have authorized in writing to act on your behalf. Your agent will need your written and signed permission that they are authorized to act on your behalf. As explained above, your agent will also need to provide information verifying your and their identity. We will still need to contact you directly to verify your identity and the request, or if any other information may be needed.
If we deny a privacy request, you can appeal our decision by contacting us at bianca@ocsalsarica.com

We encourage you to refer to this page on an ongoing basis for our most current policy and practices. If the changes are material, we will make an effort to notify you before those changes take place.
